The Mr. Price Group is seeking a dedicated and professional Call Centre Agent to join its team in South Africa. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring the efficient management of customer inquiries, applications, and correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence: Accurately and professionally handle customer queries and correspondence to prevent backlogs and minimize customer complaints.
Application & Data Management: Telephonically verify employment and personal details for new store card applications. Update customer information on relevant debtors' systems to maintain an accurate and current database.
Outbound Processing: For outbound agents, process all store card applications across various divisions to support customer and credit base growth.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant industry legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, POPI Act, National Credit Act, and ICASA regulations.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education: A Grade 12 certificate is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of call centre experience is essential, with a preference for experience in new accounts. Experience in accounts application processing is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
Legislative Knowledge: A strong understanding of key industry legislation (CPA, POPI, NCA, ICASA).
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively assist customers.
Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve customer issues.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all data and processes.
